Why I Wrote The U.S.—Israel Situationship
Share
I didn’t set out to write a “safe” book. If that were the goal, I would’ve written something easy, something Amazon could rubber-stamp without hesitation. Instead, I chose to write the truth — and the truth got me blocked.
Money, Lobbying, and the U.S.–Israel Situationship exists because I was tired of watching decades of political theater where both parties pretended the U.S.–Israel relationship was simple, “ironclad,” and unquestionable. It isn’t. It’s messy, complicated, and often ugly. It’s a Situationship — and someone had to tell it straight.
My why:
I wanted to expose how lobbying actually works — the dinners, the bundled checks, the whispered promises that bought influence across both parties.
I wanted to show presidents by name — Truman to Biden — and how each bent to pressure when it came to Israel.
I wanted Americans to see the cost: the billions of taxpayer dollars shipped overseas while families here struggle to pay rent, afford healthcare, or send their kids to school.
I wanted to lay bare how the War on Terror was weaponized — turning tragedy into a permanent excuse for occupation, invasion, and fear-driven policy.
And I wanted readers to have receipts: names, dates, deals, the AIPAC Wall of Shame, and even Charlie Kirk’s case file with prosecutor analysis.
I knew it wouldn’t make me friends in publishing. But that’s not why I write. I write for people who demand truth without filters.
Amazon tried to silence this book. That told me I struck a nerve.
